Who we are

Dentist@Potch is a dental practice at 35 Retief Street, Potchefstroom, 2520, South Africa. For anything relating to your personal information, contact our Information Officer at info@dentistatpotch.co.za or on 062 406 9799.

What this website collects

This website has no forms and does not ask you to create an account. Personal information only reaches us when you choose to contact us:

Calling or messaging us. If you phone us or start a WhatsApp chat from a link on this site, we receive your phone number and whatever you tell us. WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms and has its own privacy policy.
Booking online. Appointment bookings are made on RecoMed, an independent booking service. The details you enter there are handled under RecoMed's privacy policy and shared with us to manage your appointment.

Advertising measurement

We advertise on Google. To understand whether those adverts lead to enquiries, this site uses Google Ads conversion tracking, which sets cookies and records when a visitor who arrived from an advert taps a phone number, a WhatsApp link or the booking button. This tells Google that a contact happened; it does not send us your name, number or anything you say to us. Google processes this data under its privacy policy. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com; the site works normally without them.

Patient records

Clinical and account records created when you become a patient are kept separately from this website, in line with the Health Professions Council of South Africa's guidelines and the National Health Act.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Email info@dentistatpotch.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
